Early College Programs
High school students can enroll in PVCC Early College programs to take classes and earn college credits. This saves time and money while providing specialized support services to ensure a successful college transition. Students graduate high school while potentially earning an AGEC certificate or an associate's degree at PVCC.
We offer programs and services to assist you in your educational journey and enhance your involvement and participation in learning. PVCC extends a range of Early College scholarships to help cover the expenses of these additional courses.
You can take Concurrent Enrollment classes on the PVCC campus while you are in high school (Start Sooner program).
Early College Office has a great selection of specialty programs to get high school students on the road to college success. If you are homeschooled, you can take classes at PVCC in person or online. Achieving a College Education (ACE) is a scholarship program for students who are first-generation to college, from single-parent households, or meet other criteria. Puma Early College Program is designed for motivated high school students (sophomores, juniors, and seniors) with good academic and attendance records who wish to get a jump start on college ( you can earn up to 35 college credits). Hoop of Learning Program serves Native American students and is designed as a high school-to-college bridge program (a great opportunity to earn up to 48 college credits).
