Loretta Mondragon is the Associate Dean of Administrative Services at Paradise Valley Community College overseeing large scale construction projects, managing cross functional project management teams, and overseeing the facilities and maintenance department.

Previously, Loretta oversaw the Black Mountain campus in Cave Creek Arizona. Loretta has served as the PI (Principal Investigator) for grants at PVCC and has been active working on out of classroom STEAM initiatives and events. Prior to her current position she held leadership positions within the IT department at PVCC.

As a fifth generation Arizonian with family here since 1908, Loretta has lived in the Phoenix area all her life. Her education includes an Associate of Science degree in Electro-Mechanical Drafting and Design from Gateway Community College. A Bachelor of Arts in Human Resources - Training and Development from Ottawa University, a Master in Education in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University, and doctorate level work at Walden University in Information Systems Management, and  Organizational Leadership in Higher Education from Grand Canyon University.

Loretta has volunteered and serves on the board with Mission Teaching Foundation since 2006.  The foundation provides education to indigenous Mayan children in the remote mountain villages in the state of Chiapas, Mexico. In addition to international organizations, Loretta participates in many local organizations; most recently she was part of the start up team for American Cancer Society-Relay of Life in Cave Creek, AZ and works to support Arizona Best Buddies. She has also served on the Board for Foothills Community Foundation and has been an active member of the Cave Creek/Carefree Non profit group.

Loretta has been in education for 30 years and understands the value of education.  Her willingness to learn and share is reflective in the teams she leads.
