Scholarships are a great way to help you pay for your education. Scholarships are often considered gift aid that does not have to be repaid. Funds can be used to help defray the costs of tuition, fees, books, housing/food, transportation, childcare, and other educational expenses.

There are many scholarships out there, offered by high schools, colleges, private donors, foundations, businesses, churches, non-profits, communities, employers, and professional organizations. Some are based on merit, talent, and/or financial need. Scholarships will have a separate application process that must be completed.
