Purpose: To engage local community in conversations around health equity specifically for communities of color through:
- Exposure to educational resources
- Opportunities to engage with medical professionals, health scholars, and health policy advocates in dialogue
- Opportunities to actively participate in health equity research and consultation (tabling, on-site data collection, etc.)
Event Description: The Fall 2023 Health Equity Summit brings together community members focused on knowledge, community engagement, and policy to promote health equity for communities of color in Phoenix. Join us for a FREE screening of The Color of Care followed by a panel discussion with health equity experts and opportunities to participate in clinical/health research.
