Look deep enough and you can find a silver lining in the ongoing pandemic. As life turned virtual last spring, Paradise Valley Community College students had to adapt to a new norm. Online classes and live online classes offered students a way to continue their studies in a safe environment. Living a remote lifestyle during COVID-19 has been challenging, but surprisingly the college’s late-start classes have gained in popularity because of the flexibility it allows students.
Also known as flex start classes, these condensed classes give students the opportunity to get ahead on their general studies in a fraction of the time. The eight-week to fourteen week online and live online courses contain the same level of course work, but at a faster pace.
Just around the corner are PVCC’s next wave of flex classes starting March 23rd through May 14th. Whether you are trying to complete your degree or try something new, we encourage you to take advantage of these classes. Create a schedule that lets you study on your own time and maintain a healthy school/life balance or try a few classes you otherwise would not have considered if life was back to normal. Perhaps pick up a new hobby, like drawing or a foreign language. Find a class here
