Congratulations are in order once again for two of Paradise Valley Community College’s 2021 All-USA Winners, who were recently awarded additional national scholarships with the Coca-Cola Academic Team. The two will receive additional awards – $1,250 to Jovana Vincic as a Silver Scholar and $1,000 to Vala Zupko as a Bronze scholar.
Vincic and Zupko are part of a group of four students selected as All-AZ scholars for PVCC originally awarded two years free tuition to one of Arizona’s instate universities – Arizona State University, Northern Arizona University, or University of Arizona.
“I’m so proud of these amazing students,” said Jenny Neujoy, Honors program director. “Their commitment to academics and community is admirable and it’s great to see them acknowledged for their hard work at a national level.”
Sponsored by the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation, the Coca-Cola Academic Team program
recognizes 50 Gold, 50 Silver, and 50 Bronze Scholars with nearly $200,000 in scholarships
annually. Students are nominated for the academic team by their college administrators. Selection is based on academic achievement, leadership, and engagement in college and community service.
