The FESTIVAL OF TALES is a fun day of reading, literacy, and cultural activities for children. PVCC’s Festival of Tales on Saturday, December 3rd from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at PVCC’s Union Hills Campus, is a collaborative event hosted each semester. PVCC students, faculty and staff join together with community members to host storytelling, arts and crafts, live music, dance and theater performances, games, book giveaways, food trucks, and much more for families in our area.
This event brings books to life through the art of storytelling and provides nearly 5,000 FREE books to children who participate in the activities. This Fall, activities will be hosted both inside and outside. There will be short theater productions, live storytelling sessions, "stories by the campfire," live music, a food truck or two and more.
