It’s a new year, new you. To keep the momentum going that you created first semester, stay organized and on top of your classes. However, with warmer temperatures coming as well, we propose adding something extra to spice up your spring semester.
- Get involved
PVCC’s Club Rush is a great opportunity to get involved, meet new people and discover new passions. The event runs 10 a.m to 5 p.m., January 24 through January 27 on PVCC’s Union Hills campus, KSC Student Union. Students can also tune in virtually. Contact Student Life & Leadership for more information. - Attend an in-person or virtual event
The ongoing Covid-19 surges can’t keep us down. Check out one of the various events happening on PVCC’s two campuses or in the surrounding community. The Center for the Performing Arts lists upcoming events here, as does our Black Mountain Campus listed here. Hesitant to attend in-person? Many of these events can be streamed live. - Cheer on our Puma athletes
PVCC has many National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) sports to cheer on including soccer, baseball, softball, and track and field. Soak up the sun while you support your fellow pumas. Schedules can be found here.
Of course, studies take precedence. Don’t forget to take advantage of PVCC’s free resources for students including the Buxton Library and free tutoring, counseling and advisement, as well as disability services, veterans services, and more; all of which will help make your spring semester the best yet at PVCC.
