Pumas came out on top for the second year in a row in the Maricopa County Community College District’s 4th annual MVET Challenge, a friendly competition amongst sister colleges in support of veterans. Paradise Valley Community College collected two full pallets of food and hygiene supplies that will be donated to MANA (Marines, Army, Navy, Airforce) House, a peer-support organization of homeless and formerly homeless veterans.
“Being part of such a small group that can do so much for our fellow students and fellow humans is one of the things that makes PVCC and Maricopa such a special place,” said Rob Stimson, Student Services Specialist, Veterans Services.
Lance Miller, Property Materials Specialist, Business Services, added, “If we win next year, we will three-peat.”
Thank you to all who contributed!
