PVCC’s Summer Line Up Includes Additional 2024/2025 FAFSA Workshops

Paradise Valley Community College is extending its series of Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) Completion Workshops for the 2024-2025 academic year to help students and parents complete the form. And while there are many avenues to explore for paying for college, completing the FAFSA is the first and most vital step in seeking financial assistance.

New dates and times have been set for PVCC’s workshops to be held on the Union Hills Campus in the Computer Commons. Financial aid experts will be on hand to help students and their families complete this critical form. Support will also be available in Spanish.

New Dates and Times

  • Thursday, June 6 | 9-11AM; 12-2PM and 3-5PM
  • Tuesday, June 25 | 9-11AM; 12-2PM and 3-5PM
  • Saturday, August 10 | 9AM - 2PM

Prepare for the FAFSA Workshop

The FAFSA is completed each academic year. While PVCC does not have a priority filing deadline, it is important to complete the FAFSA as early as possible in order to receive maximum consideration for aid.

Students need to make sure they have created a Federal Student Aid (FSA) identification and bring the following documents with them.

  • The FSA ID is the student’s electronic signature/credentials to access all U.S. Department of Education (DOE) websites and will be used in subsequent academic years. Students and parents must create their own unique FSA ID. Complete the process at https://studentaid.gov/fsa-id/create-account/launch. Complete this step as soon as possible as verifying the FSA ID takes a few days.
