PSI Beta
Psi Beta is a national honor society for students attending two-year colleges who plan to major or minor in psychology, as well as students who simply have an interest in psychology. The PVCC Chapter of Psi Beta was established in 2017, for the purpose of encouraging the professional development, and increasing the psychological literacy of students by promoting and recognizing excellence in scholarship, leadership, research, and community service.
The PVCC Chapter of Psi Beta/Psychology Club spans both the Paradise Valley and Black Mountain campuses. All students may join the Psychology Club at PVCC! Any student who meets the nationally established requirements may become members of the PVCC Chapter of Psi Beta.
Psi Beta Requirements:
- Enrolled at PVCC
- Completed 1 college psychology course with a grade of B or higher.
- Completed 12 units of college coursework with a cumulative college GPA of 3.25 or higher.
- Demonstrated interest in psychology.
