Professional Development

The Fall 2024 CEI NEXT will focus on engagement and documentation with three initial palettes:  black, gray, and white, colored pencils, white and black water-based paint markers; oil pastels, highlighters, colored markers, gold and silver-tipped markers, and black and sanguine Conté crayons. The mark-making instruments are referred to as tools and the surfaces receiving the mark as a support. We are challenged to think of the existence of a variety and complexity of tools and supports.

We use Google Classroom to engage in the book study portion of our professional practice. Overtime, we read many professional books, posted questions, insights, and inspirations and read those of others.  We feel that this practice offers additional possibilities for professional dialogue, and we would like you to be a part of this professional experience!
