Global Connection
Our students and employees are multicultural and multilingual and encapsulate the spirit of PVCC. We offer a rich campus life filled with academics, athletics, arts, culture, and community outreach opportunities. And as part of PVCC’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, we pride ourselves on engaging our community through celebrations of the many cultures and traditions that surround us.
- We spotlights various cultures, heritages, and historical events with panel discussions, historical reflections, and the arts.
- Festival of Tales (event hosted twice per year) brings literature, music, and arts to life for local children and provides over 8,000 books per event to children in the community.
- The International Film Festival is held twice a year (Fall and Spring) attracting hundreds of viewers. Film is the most popular form of art and entertainment in the world and a wonderful way to engage the community.
- The state-of-the art Center for the Performing Arts hosts events and activities in music, theatre, dance, art, and educational programs, reaching nearly 16,000 community members across 150 ticketed events annually.
