Accreditation
Paradise Valley Community College is accredited by the Commission on Institutions of Higher Education of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Alcohol and Other Drugs Report
The Drug-Free Schools and Campuses Regulations (34 CFR Part 86) of the Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act require an institution of higher education to certify it has adopted and implemented programs to prevent the abuse of alcohol and use or distribution of illicit drugs by Paradise Valley Community College students and employees on its premises and as a part of any of its activities. Gainful Employment Information
The statements below include explanations that are not included in the Standard United States Department of Education Gainful Employment Disclosure Template. This additional information is intended to help students understand what is included in the cost of the program and how unique student characteristics can impact cost and/or program length.
- Program length assumes full-time enrollment and college readiness. Program length will vary based on part-time enrollment and/or enrollment in developmental coursework.
- Tuition is for Maricopa County Residents.
- Equipment/Supply costs include items such as uniforms, specialized equipment, and/or tools required for participation in the program.
- Other program costs include items such as immunizations, fingerprint cards, drug screenings, background checks, or certifications required for participation in the program.
- Program prerequisite costs may vary based on a student’s educational and work experience. Consult with the program director or advisor for specifics.
Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) affords students certain rights with respect to their education records. Paradise Valley Community College complies with these requirements. The Net Price Calculator is a tool designed to help students estimate what it may cost to attend any of the Maricopa Community Colleges or Skill Centers annually. This broad estimate is based on the cost of attendance and the financial aid that was provided to full-time, first-time degree/certificate seeking undergraduate students.
Actual net price can vary significantly based on student eligibility and does not represent an actual award. Submission of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is the only way to obtain a true and accurate determination of eligibility.
