Notetaking Process:
Notetaking Process:
It is the student's responsibility to request an in-class notetaker as needed per class and to work with the DRS office and instructor to find a notetaker. Attendance is required in order to receive notes for any class session. Notetaking assistance is not a substitute for attendance. Faculty will receive a notification email from DRS Connect asking for assistance securing a strong in-class note taker who will supply the requesting student with an accurate set of class notes.
Faculty may need to assist the student with locating a volunteer note taker by making an announcement to the class. A letter of recommendation suitable for the volunteer’s resume and/or a stipend of $25.00 per credit hour is offered to the note taker at the end of the semester.
