Apply for the Paramedic to RN Bridge Program!
The Paramedic to RN Bridge Program (NUR106) at Paradise Valley Community College (PVCC) is a transition course that will provide paramedics with the theory and clinical competencies to successfully progress into the second or third semester of the MaricopaNursing Program.
Listed below are the steps to take to be considered for the program:
- Apply for Admission to PVCC
- Meet with PVCC’s Nursing Advisor
- Visit PVCC’s Academic Advisement page to set up an appointment to
- Review academic transcripts and prerequisites (Please see Fact Sheet for additional information)
- Submit Advanced Placement Application
- PVCC’s Nursing Advisor will notify the Nursing Division
- If you are accepted into the program, you will be notified by nursing@paradisevalley.edu via your Maricopa Student Email Account (MEID@maricopa.edu)
- The Nursing Division will enroll you into NUR106
- You will also be given further instructions regarding Health & Safety Requirements, American DataBank (ADB) and myClinical Exchange (mCE)
- Once you have completed and passed NUR106
- Meet with PVCC’s Academic Advisement again to complete application process to the Nursing Program
