Dr. Edmond (Eddie) Lamperez

Dr. Lamperez serves as our Interim Vice President of Academic Affairs. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, a Master of Urban and Regional Planning, and a Master of Arts in Political Science, from the University of New Orleans. Additionally, he earned his Doctor of Education with an emphasis in Educational Leadership and Policy from Northern Arizona University. 

With over two decades of experience in higher education and government, Dr. Lamperez’s expertise spans community college assessment, accreditation, budgeting, program development and evaluation, community partnerships, strategic planning, and institutional research. He has taught at both the secondary and post-secondary level in Arizona and Louisiana. His background also includes roles in municipal government serving as an urban planner and economic development analyst. 

Eddie is known for his evidence-driven, strategic approach and is committed to empowering individuals to think creatively. He supports the development of educational and organizational innovations and is a dedicated advocate for the transformative power of community colleges to improve students’ lives and promote social mobility.
